Laurel Creek Track Dominates ThrowsJuly19 1998Laurel Creek Women Throwers used the last round to win Junior Nationals and establish PB's!! while Competing at the Canadian National Juniors. Vicki Webb and Lianne Coombe finished off the sixth round with their best throws in javelin and shot put respectively. Finishing second in both events was Dominique Bilodeau who had just spent the week in Flagstaff Arizona at the National Speed and Power Camp. Women's shot appeared to have great crowd support as the lead went back and forth between Bilodeau and Coombe and the fans watching the event were the loudest in years!
