SEAN STEACY SETS RECORD
At the Lethbridge City Junior High Track and Field Championships on Tuesday May 30 Sean Steacy broke the city discus record by over 5 meters. Sean, a grade ninie student at Gilbert Patterson Junior High threw a standing throw that broke the turf at 45.63m. His results in discus combined with his win in high jump with a near record of 1.70m helped earn a city team victory for the 25th year in a row for his junior high.
